Structural Dissociation

The Structural Dissociation Model was developed to assist with treatment of dissociative disorders and complex trauma.  Similarly to IFS (Internal Family Systems) it works with what we call “dissociative parts” within the person that leads to internal conflict and struggles in daily life.  Parts are identified, understood, and befriended in this process, which allows the parts to “sit back” and allows the client to regain control within themselves and their lives again.
